The 5-HTP is a naturally occurring amino acid and is the chemical precursor and metabolic intermediate in the biosynthesis of serotonin. Supplementation with 5-HTP increases serotonin synthesis and the associated sense of well-being. Ingredients: - Per capsule: - 5-HTP (Griffonia simplicifolia – dry extract of seeds containing 30% of 5-HTP) – 100mg; - Vitamin B1 – 0.55mg (50% RDA*); - Vitamin B6 – 0.7mg (50% RDA*); - Vitamin B12 – 1.25µg (50% RDA*); - Nicotinamide – 8mg (50% RDA*); - Valerian (Valeriana officinalis L. – containing at least 0.3% valerenic acid) – 100mg. Directions for use: Take 1 tablet twice a day, preferably before meals.
