Details

The white willow bark contains a variety of tannins, phenolic glycosides, and salicin. The salicin in white willow bark is converted to saligenin in the gastrointestinal tract and absorbed. After absorption, it is metabolized to salicylic acid. Most of the pharmacological activity associated with white willow bark appears to be related to the effects of salicylates. Salicylates are antipyretic, analgesic, and anti-inflammatory. Ingredients: - White willow bark; - Salicin. Directions for use: Take 2 capsules, 1 to 2 times a day, as needed.
