Description:
Umeboshi Plum Paste is made from natural Umeboshi plum, fermented (pickled) for over a year. The pit is then removed and the plum is mashed into a paste.
In Japan, Umeboshi is a superfood known for its alkaline properties, used to balance and strengthen the body, as well as provide protection against colds and flu.
Its delicious slightly acidic flavor makes it perfect for seasoning creams, sauces, pâtés, or as a healthy substitute for salt and vinegar.
