Rosemary is an evergreen shrub that grows wild throughout the Mediterranean basin. It has been used since ancient times for its medicinal, culinary, and magical properties. In cooking, it is a widely used aromatic plant as it enhances the flavor of any dish, especially for meat stews, lean fish, and some vegetables, as well as in pickling. We are all familiar with the magical use of rosemary, as it is believed to ward off evil spirits or energies. On a pharmaceutical level, it should be noted that its chemotype and indications vary depending on the growth zone and distillation time. In this case, rosemary camphor is mainly native to Spain, and concentrates its activity on the muscular and circulatory levels, but also has more contraindications to be taken into account.
