Indicated for colds and flu. Description: Sisymbrium officinale is the scientific name given to the singer's herb, a plant that belongs to the cruciferous family. It can be easily found in vacant lots throughout Europe, but is also present, albeit to a lesser extent, in various countries around the world, including Brazil. Also known as singer's herb, erisimo, rinchão, and erisimo-das-boticas, it can grow up to one meter in height. With a rigid and erect stem, the plant has large green leaves distributed in lobes. It also has flowers that are yellow in color and relatively small in size. Like other elements of nature, this plant has medicinal properties that can provide better health to its consumers. Its beneficial effects are related to respiratory problems. Its main characteristic is the presence of sulfurated essential oil in its composition. When this substance comes into contact with the mucosa of the mouth and throat, it causes a reaction of increased blood flow and, consequently, helps to increase expectoration and secretion. In this way, it can be said to be an excellent natural remedy for eliminating coughs and bronchitis. Additionally, it acts as an anti-inflammatory, reducing hoarseness, sore throats, and aphonia due to laryngitis, when there is inflammation of the vocal cords. Pharyngitis is another disease that can be eliminated with the consumption of this plant. Ingredients: Sisymbrium officinale (Scop.), plant. Directions for Use: Two teaspoons per cup of water. Use freshly boiled water. Pour the plant into the water and cover the container well. Let it infuse for 5 to 10 minutes. Strain and it's ready. You can drink 2 or 3 cups a day.
