The intestinal flora plays numerous roles in the human body, including stimulating the immune system to protect against various infections. It is involved in various enzymatic processes, contributes to the supply of vitamins (K, B12, folate, biotin, riboflavin), facilitates the absorption of calcium, magnesium, and iron, and participates in the metabolism of substances involved in enterohepatic circulation, aiding digestion and possibly regulating peristaltic movements. The word "Probiotic" comes from Greek and means "for life." It is currently used to refer to beneficial dietary supplements that help balance the human microbiota. Probiotics are defined as viable microorganisms (such as lactobacillus, bifidobacterium, among others) that, when ingested, improve the properties of the human intestinal microflora. Ingredients: - Lactobacillus Blend (L. acidophilus, L. rhamnosus, L. casei, Streptococcus thermophilus, Bifidobacterium longum) – 6×10^9 CFU - Inulin – 330 mg - Zinc – 7.0 mg (70% DV) - Folic Acid (Vitamin B9) – 300 μg (150% DV) - Vitamin D3 – 10 μg (200% DV) - Vitamin B12 – 25 μg (1000% DV) Directions for use: Take 1 to 2 capsules per day.
