Flaxseed oil, also known as linseed oil, is a source of Omega 3, 6, and 9 fatty acids.
Omega 3 is an essential unsaturated fatty acid that, due to its hypolipemic action, is indicated in situations of hypercholesterolemia and in the prevention of cardiovascular diseases.
Due to its anti-inflammatory action, it can be used in digestive tract inflammations and also assist in benign prostatic hyperplasia. It can help in cases of constipation.
It can be used as a skin softener in cases of eczema, dry skin, minor burns, and other dermatitis.
